Collective Impact

Membership in OCASI allows immigrant and refugee-serving agencies to organize collectively and speak with a strong voice on the issues that matter. The Council has grown to over 240 member agencies across Ontario.

“We all work with communities who are already vulnerable with multiple challenges accessing services and supports. We need OCASI now more than ever” - Executive Director

“Thanks Debbie and OCASI for providing a forum for communicating and sharing Information” - Executive Director

Regional Meetings

Held quarterly every year in each of our seven Ontario regions, the meetings give member agencies a space to discuss shared concerns and bring priorities to the attention of the OCASI Board. They provide an opportunity to strengthen the OCASI network and ensure the Council remains authentic and relevant to member agencies.

Membership Communications

We provide regular email updates to member agencies on government response to OCASI concerns, program and policy changes that affect the sector, policy priorities, funding opportunities, sector capacity building and training, and much more. Communication tools include an email list for executive directors and alternate representatives, a frontline worker email list, and a monthly e-newsletter.
